At the beginning of 2016, I was in school at the University of Iowa and working for the daily newspaper.
I wasn't feeling fulfilled creatively and I realized that while Iowa City was filled with artists, there was a lack of publication of those works of art I saw on Instagram or in classes.
I decided to gather 20 of the most creative people I knew and make a student run print and digital magazine.
Two years later, Fools is now the fastest growing organization at the University of Iowa, with a staff of over 100 creative students. I worked as Editor-in-Chief and Photo Editor of Fools over two years.
The students and editors I've had the privilege of working with have grown through adversity, over $20,000 of funding, and group work on every single spread.
